The Ole Miss Alumni association welcomes the 2021-22 officers

OXFORD, Mississippi, – The Ole Miss Alumni Association announced the elected officers for 2021-2022 at its annual meeting on Saturday, October 9 as part of Homecoming activities at the University of Mississippi. This year’s meeting took place outside in front of the Triplett Alumni Center.
Dr. Bob Warner (BA 79, MD 83), of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has been appointed president, a one-year term that changes with each Homecoming.
Warner is an associate at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Surgical Clinic, where he is Chief of Surgery and Deputy Chief of Staff, and Assistant Professor of Surgery at NYIT Medical School in Jonesboro. He was the founding president of the Northeast Arkansas Ole Miss Alumni Club and is active in Rotary International at the local, national and international levels.
âI am grateful and humbled to serve in this capacity,â said Warner. âI especially want to thank our outgoing president, Lampkin Butts, for his efforts. His strong leadership has helped us to take a stable course in an unprecedented time. “
Bill Reed (BA 72, JD 77), of Jackson, a shareholder in the law firm Baker Donelson, has been appointed president-elect. Karen Moore (BS 82), of Nashville, president of the nonprofit Project Redesign, was elected vice president.
Members of the track committee include Johnny Maloney (BBA 78), of Madison, and Bruce Ware (BBA 99), of Dallas. Maloney is executive vice president of Cowboy Maloney’s Home Store, which has 13 branches in Mississippi. Ware is corporate vice president at DaVita Inc., a Fortune 500 healthcare company.
The CEO of the Ole Miss Alumni association, Kirk Purdom (BA 93), is the treasurer.
