The media have a long way to go to regain our trust | News, Sports, Jobs

The January 8 Alpena News featured a column by Marc Theissen, “How the Media Wasted Americans’ Trust.” The column listed many examples of media misdeeds that Theissen called real and enduring.
The media relies on the 1st Amendment to cover and broadcast the news. The media is supposed to be objective and to keep us the people informed about what our government and its officials are doing, not to serve as a ringleader and mouthpiece for government propaganda.
The media has been complicit in concealing Joe Biden’s mental state and abilities from the public, his corruption while in office, and the corruption and fraud of his family. Biden’s election was only possible because: 1) the voting public was not given the information they needed to make a wise choice. 2) Fraud. The media did not seriously investigate reports of electoral fraud and illegal changes to electoral regulations. Instead of investigating, they were in the forefront hiding it. Biden is a man who can’t speak understandably, is often confused, doesn’t know where he is half the time, needs manipulators (puppeteers), won’t answer questions, and has only campaigned since his basement. He should not have been elected. Shame on everyone who actually voted for this clown. Our enemies know he is weak and will take advantage of it. We see it. Our country is hurting and will continue to hurt under Biden and his cronies bent on destroying it.
Media coverage of the “mostly peaceful” BLM riots and the January 6, 2021 protest is markedly different. If the media is complicit in facilitating and protecting another shady election, the 2021 “insurgency” will unfortunately look like a picnic and the media will own it. The media has a long way to go to regain our trust and I doubt they want it.
