A special project celebration will be held Friday, June 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 1231 Adams Street. The sign will be illuminated at sunset — 8:21 p.m. You can find out more here!
Neponset Day
Neponset River Water Shed Association invites you to enjoy a day of outdoor fun along the Neponset River and Greenway Trail on Sunday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DCR Neponset Park II – corner of Granite Ave and Hill Top Street. Celebrate the beautiful natural habitats and wildlife along the river. It’s a FREE, public and family event. We encourage you to bring a blanket and a picnic, and have the day! Signature Series – Prehistoric Lawn Safari on D
Long ago—before the Seaport was just a parking lot, before the Pilgrims and Native Americans, and even before the Green Monster—dinosaurs ruled our city. On Saturday June 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., join the Lawn on D for the return of our Signature Series and embark on a prehistoric safari. You’ll see an animated 23-foot T-Rex, cool reptiles with Animal Adventures, inflatables, magicians, face painting, puppeteers, life-size dinosaurs…and maybe even spot a Lawnasaurus? Free and fun for all ages, we’ll have four different cornhole tournaments featuring Wicked Cornhole and some sweet RAWRsome prizes. Plus, we’ll have food, drink, specialty cocktails, live music all day, featuring The Far Out and local Southie favorite Thomas Park! Sponsored by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. Free Boston City Outdoor Fitness Series
To move! The Boston Department of Parks and Recreation and the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) are pleased to announce the 2022 Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The series will offer free weekly classes both virtually and at 18 Boston city parks from June 5 through October 1.
