Grants and Awards
Los Angeles 2022 Price
These awards are open to visual artists and collectives who have lived and worked in LA County for at least two years. Two artists will receive $ 10,000 each while a third will receive $ 25,000. Artadia will be awarding prizes to artists in six other US cities this year, check their website for details.

Eyebeam Center for the Future of Journalism
Artists and artist-journalist teams can apply for grants to support topical work. Those with longer-term research-intensive projects are also eligible. Grants range from $ 500 to $ 5,000 per project.

Foundation for Contemporary Arts
These monthly grants range from $ 500 to $ 3,000, with the average amount being $ 1,700. Visual artists and performers whose work is contemporary and experimental in nature and who have a U.S. tax identification number may apply.

Frankenthaler Prize for Climate Art
Asia Society and the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation will each award $ 15,000 to three visual artists whose work addresses the climate crisis and who are enrolled or recently graduated from Masters of Fine Arts programs in the United States. Applications open on January 10.

Sharpe-Walentas Studio program
Now accepting applications for its 2022-2023 residency period, the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program is awarding rent-free studio space to 17 visual artists for one-year residencies in Brooklyn, New York.

Stamps School of Art and Design
Residence Witt 2023

Artist research grant
Artists working in all media whose work would benefit from significant primary research can apply for this four-week non-residential scholarship, which comes with a scholarship of $ 3,500.

United States Stock Exchange
Formerly incarcerated artists working in all creative disciplines can apply for this scholarship to support a project to reform the criminal justice system. Six fellows will each receive $ 20,000.
