EXCLUSIVE CLIP: No “trolls before the tolls” in the new episode of THE BARBARIAN AND THE TROLL
Since its premiere last month, Nickelodeon’s new puppet comedy series The Barbarian and the Troll has been an audience hit with double-digit year-over-year gains with Kids 2-11 (1 , 4 / 271K, + 17%) and was broadcast number two for the week with Kids 6-11 (1.3 / 153K, + 30%). Rhythm is proud to present an exclusive preview clip from this Friday’s new episode.
As viewers will recall, energetic troll Evan gave up his life as a troll bridge in pursuit of his musical dreams after literally burning his bridge down. Naturally, Evan’s father, the Troll King, wasn’t too kind, so you can imagine the awkward family reunion when Evan has to see his parents again. He will have to “troll up” if he wants to help his friends continue their quest.
Before that, however, Evan meets an old friend (Doug from the health class) who informs him that Evan is unsurprisingly persona non grata for all the trolls in the land of Gothmoria.
Watch an exclusive preview clip of the episode “Parents Just Can’t Get It” below, and be sure to tune in on Friday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET / PT when the episode airs.
