Always keen to stay safe during the pandemic, the Buena Vista Homeowners Association hosted a unique annual party for children and adults this year.
Over 75 adults and children came to pet Round Hill Alpaca Farm’s adorable alpacas and purchase cute (and warm!) Handmade scarves, socks and hats for the winter. Delicious pizzas and salads were served by the Family Brick Oven Pizza Truck, and the afternoon was topped off with a visit from our West Hartford Fire Department announcing their arrival with their siren and horn.
âIt has been a fun filled day to give and greet neighbors we haven’t seen for many months,â said Sherry Haller, Association President. âNeighbors donated toys for the Fire Department’s Toys for Tots campaign, food for the West Hartford Food Pantry, and warm clothing for the coming winter months.
âIt’s times like these that remind us of how wonderfully caring and generous our community is,â she said.
